What type of chassis construction does the trailer utilise? Many trailers imported into NZ are built from lightweight steel and are finished in low quality nickel plating. All Kaiapoi Trailers have heavy duty chassis rails 3mm thick and are hot dipped galvanized for years of worry free use. Nickel plating lasts only months in the harsh NZ outdoors.

Will the axle be strong enough to carry enough weight? All Kaiapoi Trailers feature New Zealand new axles built to exceed the carrying capacity of the trailer. A majority of many imported trailers are supplied with poor quality axles which feature a light loading capacity, most will fail prematurely . As a responsible leading trailer manufacturer we at Kaiapoi Trailers are commited to providing quality. That is the reason why we DO NOT use poor quality imported axles/bearings.

Can I build a package to suit my needs? We at Kaiapoi Trailers understand the kiwi camper and the passion for the great New Zealand outdoors. Buying a trailer package sometimes will mean you end up with items you don't need. All Kaiapoi Camper Trailer combos are able to be customized to suit the individual customer.

What warranty does the trailer and tent carry ? All our trailers are covered by a 2 yr no fuss "back to base" warranty. If there's anything that should go wrong within the warranty period we will fix it. The tent is also covered by the manufactures full 2 yr warranty. Piece of mind knowing that we're there to help

Can I upgrade any of the specifications of the trailer? At Kaiapoi Trailers our prime concern is the satifaction and needs of our customers. We can change, modify or build to suit any requirement our customers have. Remember that when dealing with a "package" dealer, there is no choice you get what they have in stock.
